Rietondale High School hosts a variety of cultural activities – from drama to choir to public speaking to… Come speak your mind and sing along!
Choir
The choir started at the end of 2012 under the baton of Attie Rossouw.
The choir sings music of different genres and performs at choir festivals, church services, competitions and school functions.
In 2022 the choir came second in the entire country with the ATKV final competition. This gold certificate was well deserved as we only lost by 0,6% to Hoërskool Hugenote in the Cape province.
We feel so proud of our choir for their great achievements and the high standards they uphold.

Ignite
Ignite is a group of learners that meet once a week at break, to learn more about God and living out the Christian faith. Learners are encouraged to suggest topics of interest, ask questions and learn about, and grow in, their faith. Most meetings include a combination of teaching by a local pastor, prayer and praise and worship. We have also organised some events such as exam prayer time with a marshmallow braai.
